DAY FOR DANIEL – DRESS IN MUFTI WEARING SOMETHING RED
As you know, Bruce and Denise Morcombe visited our school in October last year. On Friday, 27 October Northpine Christian College will once again be showing our support to the Daniel Morcombe Foundation by hosting a Day for Daniel, where children can dress in mufti wearing something red.
The Foundation’s key role in the community is the education of all children about their personal safety. By directly assisting educators and parents through the funding and development of child safety educational resources as well as assisting young victims of crime, the Foundation continues to empower all Australians to make their local communities safer places for all children.
The Foundation is strongly committed to the development and education of Respectful Relationships for children and teenagers in our schools and communities.
Our gold coin donations will be going to the Daniel Morcombe Foundation. The financial contribution made by our school community on this day will go a long way in helping to keep our children safe.
Thank you for your support.
* Children participating are to wear enclosed shoes only (no thongs).
