Hear Me, See Me Art Exhibition

On Friday 1 September, artwork by Northpine Christian College Year 4 student Amelia Thompson was chosen to be displayed at the Hear Me, See Me Art Exhibition, run by the Queensland Family and Child Commission. Young Queenslanders from 5-18 years were invited to submit artwork on the theme “What does safety, love, joy, hope, trust and family look like to you?” Amelia’s artwork was displayed at QUT’s Gardens Point Room in Brisbane City as part of QFCC’s effort to bring awareness to Child Protection Week. The art was seen by members of parliament, and there was an official Welcome Ceremony by the Deputy Commissioner for QFCC, Cheryl Leavy.
