Library News

We have now come to the end of a busy Term 3, with everyone looking forward to the holidays and, for many, Big Camp.

If you wish to keep reading through the holidays, remember Moreton Bay Region Libraries have a wonderful selection of books (including ebooks) to borrow, as well as offering a variety of fun activities. Library membership is free so please visit your local library and keep reading….

Throughout the term, students borrowing extra books outside of class library time receive an entry for each extra book they borrow. At the end of each term, one entry is drawn out to receive a $25 gift voucher. This term we would like to congratulate Tessa Meyer from 3B. We hope you enjoy selecting some lovely books for yourself from QBD and continue reading through the holidays.

This Wednesday we will announce the class with the best library manners for Term 3. They will enjoy a class library party early next term, with games and treats.  Thank you to those classes who have consistently shown great manners and particularly those who we have rewarded previously. We encourage good behaviour in the library and like to reward one class a term for making that extra effort.

A special thank you to Sarah Dalman who assisted in our library over the past three weeks, completing her work placement for TAFE.  While it was a great learning experience for Sarah, we appreciated the help she was able to offer during her time with us.

May you all be blessed with a happy and safe holiday … see you next term!
