Oral Care Recycling

The P&F is supportive of an initiative where oral care waste can be recycled, giving Northpine Christian College the chance to win prizes including a community garden while earning fundraising dollars at the same time.

Please see the attached flyer for further details, or read below.

A purple wheelie bin (as pictured here) will be situated at the back of the College Office where students can deposit oral care waste.

The waste that can be collected and recycled is as follows:

  • Toothpaste tubes and caps
  • Toothbrushes (all types but NOT electrical toothbrushes)
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste tube outer packaging (the cardboard box/packet it comes in)
  • Floss containers and packaging
  • Interdental brushes and packaging

If your toothpaste tube isn’t quite finished, you can help us another way in the meantime. By logging onto www.Terracycle.com.au/colgategardenvoting and searching for Northpine Christian College you can vote online for our school. You can vote once a day. Please let friends and family know they can help us by voting online as well.

We thank you for your support of this recycling project, which earns us valuable fundraising dollars to be spent on resources for our students.

So instead of throwing your old toothbrush or toothpaste tube away at home, (as well as the other listed items), please throw them into the purple wheelie bin and we will do the rest.

Thanks for your support.
