In Week 11 on Tuesday 26th June our Year 5 & 6 students will participate in an NRL Intra-School Touch Football Gala event on our college oval. There will be 8 x Year 5 mixed teams (Boys and Girls combined) and 9 x Year 6 mixed teams (B&G) playing round robin games from 9am until 12:30pm. Games will last for 13 minutes with a 2 minute break before the next game.

Students are to bring a packed recess and can bring their bags with them during the day. Year 5 students are reminded to wear their sports uniform on the day as well as their hats. Remember – No Hat, No Play!

Games will be refereed by the NRL coaches with teachers supervising and managing the teams. It is hoped that the students gain valuable team work skills through learning how to play in a team whilst developing their passing, catching and tagging skills.
