Infant Sports Day (P-2 Athletics)

The Infant Sports Carnival was a great success with the students putting in a huge effort in their events. It was wonderful to see so many family members supporting the students on the day as it made for a great atmosphere. Thank you to all the staff for running the events. Lunchtime AFL Auskick

AFL Auskick is being offered to Prep to Year 2 students. Application forms have been given to students and anyone wanting to participate should apply as soon as possible. The program run each Tuesday lunchtime until the end of Term 3. Each session will last from 12:50pm-1:20pm on the college oval. Students are asked to meet the AFL coaches at the flag poles at the start of lunch and then head to the oval. Students are advised to bring a pair of sneakers to change into before each session.

After School Softball

The After School Softball program for Year 4-6 is running each Monday (Week 6 – 10) from 3:15-4:15pm on the college oval starting 20 August until 17 September. Places are still available, and you can register at the following link.

Term 3 After School Sport

The Brisbane Roar Community Team continue their soccer program until 18th September on the school oval after school, the sessions begin at 3:15 pm and run for one hour. Parents who sign their child/ren into the program are asked to promptly collect them at the end of the session. Regional Athletics Carnival

Congratulations to Jacob Perham who has qualified for the 10 yr Boys Long Jump event at The Met-North Regional Championships to be held on 29 -31 August at the University of Queensland. We wish him all the very best for his event. Well done Jacob!

AFL Gala Afternoon

An AFL Gala afternoon will take place on the college oval for Year 4 and 5 students on Thursday 23 August. Boys and girls will be separated into teams with a boys and girls pool of games taking place from 1pm-3pm. We look forward to a fun afternoon of AFL. (tag rules apply, no tackling).
