Prep Orientation 2017 has come and gone and we are very grateful that so many parents were able to join us for the day. We really value your interest in the education of your children. Thanks to our Junior School staff who willingly supported the program and a special thanks to our prep teachers and their aides for planning and running the program. I would also like to acknowledge the time and effort Mr Blake put into ensuring the program ran well.
The poor weather last week meant that we postponed our Middle/Senior Adventure Race. This is a great event that the students enjoy and we are hoping that the weather will be kind to us tomorrow for the rescheduled event date.
Late Term 3 parents received an email asking them to complete a re-enrolment form for each of their children for 2018. I would like to thank those parents who have completed and returned these forms. I would also like to encourage those who have yet to return these forms to do so as soon as possible so that we are able to complete our planning for the 2018 school year. Thank you for your help with this important process.
I am sure that Yr 6 will enjoy their camp over the next three days and we want to wish our Yr 12 students clear minds as they face their last week of school exams and get ready to go on their camp next week.
Michelle Doyle has done a great job of running our Northpine Out of School Hours Care (OSHC), Club Northpine, for the past three years. Michelle shared with us that in 2018 she would like to return to teaching and would be unable to continue in her role at OSHC beyond the end of this year. I would like to thank Michelle for her hard work and dedication and wish her much of God’s blessing for the future.
I am pleased to announce that OSHClub is joining the Northpine community and will be delivering our Out of School Hours Care from 2018. OSHClub are a quality provider of Out of School Hours and Vacation Care and we believe that the great program that Club Northpine has run over the years will be replicated by OSHClub as we move into the future. Attached HERE is a flyer introducing OSHClub to you and we are very confident that the transition will be seamless and that your children will find their program both fun and educational. Additional detail about enrolment will be communicated soon. Thank you in advance for supporting this change and should you have any questions, please contact the College office.
