Year 1 to 12 Interim Reports will be available for you to access via the Parent Portal immediately after school on Friday 23 March. The purpose of producing these reports is to give you an early indication of the progress that students have made to date. Teachers will indicate (a tick in the interview required column) on some reports that an interview is required. Please take the time to come in and discuss your student/s progress with their teacher/s. We have set aside the afternoon and evening of Wednesday March 28 between the hours of 3.30 – 5.30 and 6.00 – 7.30pm for interviews. To ensure all Prep parents have an opportunity to catch up with their child/ren’s teachers, Prep teachers will also hold interviews on Tuesday 27 March from 3:30 – 6:30pm. If the teacher did not ask for an interview but you feel you would like to speak to them, you are most welcome to make an appointment. Now is the time to make the appropriate adjustments that will ensure the best academic result for 2018. Information about the login process was sent to you last week. If you have difficulty accessing your student’s information on the portal please contact the college.
Please use our on-line booking service to book appointments for yourself. Instructions that will assist you with making your booking are included in this newsletter. The on-line booking system will be available for bookings from 3:30pm Friday 23 March. Please contact our office should you require assistance.
I would like to acknowledge the Staff and Yr 9 students who participated in the Challenge – The Next Step camps over the past two weeks. This is a valuable program that teachers have put together to help transition our adolescents into adults.
We have placed a sign outside Gate 1, reminding parents about the times Gate 1 cannot be used as an entry point. We will monitor this for the remainder of term to ensure that our traffic flow works as well as possible for those parents who have to drop off and pick up students each day. I have also been told that some parents are parking in the drop-off/pick-up zone in the mornings, which interrupts traffic flow. Please do not leave your car parked in this zone. Just a reminder that the Disabled Carparks are reserved for those with registered disability tags and that traffic is disrupted when we use road ways as pick up zones. Thank you for your patience during the busy pick-up time each afternoon and for following pick-up procedures.
Just a reminder that Term 2 brings with it winter uniform requirements. Please ensure that your student/s arrive in the full and proper winter uniform on the first day of the term.
Please note that classes for Term 2 begin on Tuesday 17 April.
