Principal’s Briefing

Last weekend Watson Park transformed into tent (and caravan) city, signalling that Big Camp 2019 has arrived. Big Camp is a great event and I invite you to consider attending some of the meetings if you are able. I am sure that you will receive a blessing.

Until Wednesday afternoon church workers, who have had to undergo child protection training, will be on the campgrounds preparing for Big Camp. As you are aware our last day of school for this term is tomorrow, Wednesday 18 September. This will allow us to accommodate the final set up for the Camp Program on Thursday and Friday.

Remember that the College Office will close at 4:00pm on Wednesday 18 September and re-open for business at 8:30am on Monday 30 September.

Term 4 will begin on Tuesday 8 October.  It is nice that the Queen’s Birthday holiday is linked to the holiday break this year.

Summer uniform is acceptable from the beginning of Term 4.

Thank you for your support over this busy term and I trust that the holidays allow the opportunity for some much needed rest, relaxation and family time for Northpine staff and families.

Tomorrow we welcome back our Year 11 cohort and their teachers – I am sure that they had a great time up at 1770 and are ready for a good holiday.

God bless

-Mr Graham Baird, Principal
