Year 3 Queensland Museum Excursion

Student with insectOn Thursday the 15 June all of Year 3 visited the Queensland Museum. We had such a fun time! We enjoyed eating lunch amongst giant statues of dinosaurs, we held stick bugs and other insects, and we investigated the Discovery Centre and learnt about the Indigenous Culture. We finished off the day by touching dinosaur bones and by seeing amazing images of outer space.

Risham from 3A said her best part of the day was touching the snake skin.

Beau & Byron from 3A said their favourite part of the day was touching turtle scales.

Lylyana from 3C said her favourite part was touching a stick insect for the first time.

Lexxie from 3C said her favourite part of the day was seeing a massive picture of the planet Mars.

Lily-Rose from 3B said her favourite part was seeing all the Australian animals.

Sidonie from 3B said her favourite her part was going to the Discovery Centre.
