Welcome to 2024

Greeting all and welcome back to the 2024 academic year.

I have to say that it brings me joy that this year has started so well.

We have had a smooth transition from ’23 into ’24 and this is in part due to the high retention of teachers and in both primary as well as secondary, but it is also a thank you to you as parents and careers. We value the support you give those under your care, and we thank you for trusting us with that same level of care here at Northpine Christian College.

We have hit the ground running in 2024 with a short week (week 1), a major weather event yesterday (thank you for your support and patience with this), as well as the High School Swimming Carnival held today (Wednesday). But as we navigate life, it is reassuring to know that we don’t have to bear the full burden on our own. The Bible tells us ‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest’ – Matthew 11:28.

I love the reassurance in this verse that tells us that God has got it all in His control.

We are told to ‘lean on Him’ for this is where we find our strength.

I sincerely thank you for choosing Northpine Christian College for your child’s education and pray and trust that this is a year of progress and growth.

May God bless us all, as together we journey through life.
